Everything you have ever needed to know you learned in kindergarten.  

How true this is for a weaver. We learned to weave paper strips together, weaving over one and under one.  This is the base for all weaving. 

Then the challenge becomes what happens if rather than “over one, under one” you skip over two and under one? What will happen to the pattern? Thus, the challenge is born.  

Weaving has led me on a journey exploring different fibers, structures, patterns and color interactions. Every trip to the loom is an adventure. I look forward to each throw of the shuttle as the weft fiber crosses the warp ends, interlacing the two forever. The joining of these two brings a joy to my world.
